Antique of the Month - A Circa 1920 Telephone

This month’s Antique of the Month from the Historic Johanna Brotch House is a Circa 1920 telephone. It is placed at the same location in the house as the original landline, which still exists. The wall stand it sits on is also an antique, though not associated historically with this particular phone. There is a photo below of the patent number and maker of the telephone which as been traced to determine the date of manufacture of the phone is c. 1920. It doesn’t work at present, but probably could be configured to do so, though its unknown if dial-up services even exist in the telephone industry anymore. Hope you enjoy this one. It’s the same type of phone that would have been in the house.
