Embark on a Fascinating Walking Tour of Bay View's Lake Captains’ and Their Homes

Most of Bay View's 71 distinct lake captains led lives filled with adventure, and many of them called more than one house their home during their illustrious careers. Remarkably, one captain even lived in 10 different homes. Collectively, these captains resided in 117 different houses while captaining an impressive fleet of 195 diverse ships. Each of these homes plays a significant role in our storytelling, with mentions in both our YouTube channel episodes and book chapters dedicated to each captain.

For simplicity's sake, we've chosen just one of their homes for our video filming. Our selection is based on what we perceive as the most remarkable event in their sailing careers or their greatest achievements, often including their families.

Twice each month, our YouTube channel produces captivating videos that delve into the lives of Bay View's lake captains, with a special focus on their homes. You can watch these episodes with slides and listen to the professionally narrated audio (our narrator resides in England) - all accessible on your phone and completely free! Whether it's day or night, rain or shine, the choice is yours. It's the perfect companion for your jog or leisurely dog walk. Each YouTube episode is conveniently categorized by street name in the Playlist.
